Find me on:

The third blog in our event space series, check out our favorite places in NYC and LA here!

Like real estate, event marketing is location, location, location. Sure, with the right team of creative strategists and designers, you can turn a parking lot into a carnival or a trade show booth into a donut creation station, but the space sets the tone for your entire experience. With literally hundreds of event space options to choose from in tropical, fantasy locations choosing the best spot for your next brand event can be overwhelming. By taking your experience to a destination, you are already asking attendees to invest a chunk of their time and money, so make sure the amenities more than make up for it

Whether your next brand activation is a concert, a VIP dinner, a private experience, or a public stunt, here are some of our favorite tropical event spaces for your next destination brand experience:

The Audubon House and Tropical Gardens offer a lush 1-acre view of tropical foliage featuring orchids and bromeliads. There are antiques that are typical of the furnishings found in a prosperous Key West home during the 1800s, as well as 28 first edition John James Audubon works in the house. The house and gardens can be rented for weddings, luncheons, dinners, receptions, and other special events, during or after hours. The gardens are illuminated for night time events. They can accommodate wedding receptions for up to 120 guests, corporate cocktail parties for up to 250 guests, and corporate dinner parties for up to 150 guests.

4. Commissioner's House, Bermuda

The Commissioner’s House, a grand, 19th-century mansion, is located within the National Museum of Bermuda at Royal Naval Dockyard. With wrap-around porches, the space can host 150 people for dinner and 200 for cocktails, adding a sense of history and timelessness to any event. The Commissioner's House and the outdoor parade grounds offer sweeping views of the Atlantic Ocean and Great Sound.

Bermuda's commissioner lived in the building between 1827-1837. After that, the building was taken over by the British army. In 1862, the house became Royal Marine barracks. Subsequently during the World War II, it was used as the allied headquarters for North Atlantic submarine radio interception. Then, the Bermuda Maritime Museum (which is now the National Museum) took up the biggest restoration project ever in the island to restore this building over 25 years. It was finally opened to public in the year 2000.
